Mallam Ibrahim Shekarau stood for the masses. The masses stood for Shekarau. This bond and love affair is not a façade, it is palpable, it is visible and it is indestructible. Shekarau came, he saw and he conquered. He left huge, indelible footprints on the sands of time.

The true test of a successful man is the extent to which he effected his environment positively on the society. He dreamt big dreams for Kano and Nigeria and he tried constructively and dexterously to transform those great and lofty dreams into reality.
